RF HARDWARE RELIABILITY ENGINEER - STARSHIELD
The Starshield program harnesses SpaceX’s innovative Starlink technology and launch capabilities to bolster national security initiatives. While Starlink caters to commercial and consumer markets, Starshield is tailored for government applications, emphasizing earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads. As a Hardware Reliability Engineer on the Starshield team, you will take complete ownership of hardware bring-up, characterization, and qualification testing, ensuring that our products meet the highest reliability standards throughout their lifecycle from production to orbit.
In this dynamic and rapidly expanding program, you will engage with various cross-disciplinary teams, requiring a holistic systems-level mindset to validate the viability of your designs. Our fast-paced development cycles necessitate innovative problem-solving for complex, previously unsolved challenges. Daily, we push the boundaries of innovation, commitment, and collaboration to achieve our mission goals.
As an RF Hardware Reliability Engineer, you will be instrumental in diagnosing systemic issues affecting both on-orbit and production hardware, overseeing end-to-end root cause analysis, and implementing design and process enhancements to elevate product quality and reliability in both production and operational environments. You will engage closely with hardware, gaining an in-depth understanding of design, manufacturing processes, testing protocols, and operational dynamics of the sub-assemblies you support.
