Qualifications
Responsibilities:Design and develop RF and mmWave circuit blocks such as mixers, LNAs, PAs, switches, and VCOs.Conduct schematic design, simulation, and optimization to achieve performance goals in gain, noise figure, linearity, power, and bandwidth.Assess design trade-offs concerning performance, power consumption, and chip area.Work alongside layout engineers to ensure optimal RF performance and manufacturability.Assist with silicon bring-up, measurement, and troubleshooting of produced devices.Document design methodologies, simulation outputs, and measurement results.Engage in design reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of RF design processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.A minimum of 2 years of experience in RF or mmWave circuit design.Strong foundation in RF circuit theory and semiconductor device behavior.Proficient circuit design skills, with experience in analyzing and simulating both linear and non-linear circuits for RF applications.Familiarity with simulation and design tools such as Cadence (Virtuoso), Agilent ADS, Mentor tools, and/or Keysight PathWave Design Suite (ADS, SystemVue, GoldenGate, Momentum, Spectre).A commitment to working full-time, on-site in Atlanta, GA.Preferred Skills:Experience in designing RFIC or MMIC circuits using SOI and GaN technologies.Knowledge of RF front-end architectures in wireless communication systems.Hands-on experience in silicon validation and RF measurement.
