Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred• Prior cleaning experience is advantageous.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Solid understanding of housekeeping protocols, hotel policies, sanitation standards, and cleaning chemical usage• Familiarity with linen care, bed-making techniques, and room presentation standards• Awareness of OSHA safety regulations regarding chemical handling• Knowledge of hotel services and amenities to assist guests effectively• Understanding of health and safety regulations, including handling biohazard materials• Ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms.

Position Summary
The Room Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring a pristine environment for our guests. This position is responsible for thorough cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, including vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, and handling laundry. The Room Attendant reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping.

Essential Job Functions/Key Responsibilities
• Clean and service guest rooms in alignment with hotel standards
• Maintain a consistent and uniform arrangement of guest rooms as guided by housekeeping leadership
• Efficiently communicate with guests and team members to address inquiries and resolve issues
• Restock linens and amenities as per the guest room legend
• Report status of cleaned rooms to the supervisor
• Notify supervisors of any damages, hazards, or repair needs
• Keep corridors and service areas tidy
• Transport linens and waste to designated areas
• Update the daily room master worksheet at designated times
• Conduct deep cleaning of rooms semi-annually
• Respond promptly to guest requests
• Take full responsibility for assigned rooms daily
• Perform other duties as assigned.
