POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Sales Associate plays a key role in assisting management by fostering a customer and product-oriented sales culture. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results:
- Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in recommending merchandise selections or sourcing products based on customer preferences.
- Stay informed about current sales promotions and maintain pricing and visual standards.
- Uphold standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Engage in visual merchandising tasks including monthly store setups and maintaining designated zones.
Customer Experience:
- Exemplify and promote our Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure efficient and quick register operations, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, and security practices.
- Encourage additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
- Enroll customers in our rewards program.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service.
- Stay updated on current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.
- Maintain regular communication with clients using the customer book.
Operational Excellence:
- Assist in the replenishment activities that keep our store well-stocked and inviting.
- Support locate fulfillment tasks.
- Contribute to visual merchandising initiatives including floor sets, window displays, and signage as directed.
- Help maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth:
- Encourage a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.
