Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the initial contact in the sales process, playing a crucial role in generating new business. At memoryBlue, you will be responsible for researching, connecting, and initiating conversations that lead to valuable opportunities for our clients.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and compiling targeted prospect lists who would benefit from a client’s technology products or services.
- Engaging with these prospects through strategic and personalized outreach to identify sales opportunities.
- Qualifying and nurturing interested prospects to advance them to the next stage by scheduling meetings with the client’s Account Executive.
- Continuously enhancing your sales development skills while exploring exciting career paths in high-tech sales.
Training Process:
Every new Sales Development Representative at memoryBlue begins their journey with a paid entrance into our Prospecting Principles training, equipping you with the essential tools, skills, and methodologies for long-term success.
- Kick off with a 4-day Bootcamp led by experienced facilitators, where you will engage in hands-on learning and real-time role plays to master core prospecting fundamentals, leaving you with a comprehensive Prospecting playbook and call templates.
- Following the Bootcamp, you will spend the next twelve weeks applying what you've learned in Foundations sessions, featuring coaching, call analyses, weekly goal tracking, and peer feedback.
Throughout this process, you will work towards earning your Certified Sales Development Rep credential, validating your skills in cold outreach, list building, email and voicemail strategies, objection handling, and more.
