Position Title: Sales Manager

Position Summary
As the Sales Manager at BUDDYS NEWCO LLC, you will serve as a pivotal leader at our Apopka branch, working closely with the General Manager and Credit Manager. Your role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at fostering a safe, efficient, and profitable operational environment. You will be accountable for achieving our organizational goals, upholding quality standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain customer relationships.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze, prepare, and review store performance reports.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and merchandise availability.
- Complete necessary documentation for corporate support.
- Execute marketing strategies and internal quality control measures.
- Implement and oversee sales and promotional initiatives.
- Keep thorough operational records and manage financial transactions.
- Supervise inventory and cash management.
- Ensure proper pricing for all merchandise.
- Prepare daily schedules, assign tasks, and enforce company policies.
- Reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by store management.
Qualifications for Sales Manager:
- Strong organizational skills and established sales abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Quick learner with proficiency in POS systems.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Competent in planning, organizing, delegating, and coordinating tasks.
- Adept at identifying and resolving issues.
- Possess navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record.
- Consistent attendance, including availability for nights and weekends as required by business needs.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in retail, Rent-to-Own, or related fields with a strong emphasis on customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising.
General Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise weighing between 50-300 lbs.
- Physical capability to stoop, bend, pull, climb, reach, and grasp as needed.
- Must be able to navigate multiple flights of stairs while transporting furniture, appliances, and electronics.
