About the Role
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operational functions that drive sales performance for designated retail accounts. This position encompasses demand planning, inventory management, purchase order execution, point-of-sale (POS) trend analysis, trade spend management, and the continual assessment of business trends and operational performance. The Specialist collaborates closely with internal teams at SharkNinja to monitor business performance, maintain accurate forecasts, and facilitate the execution of essential operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with operational tasks related to demand planning, inventory tracking, purchase orders, and sales performance reporting.
- Generate and maintain weekly business reports that outline trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor promotional performance in relation to expectations, aiding in future shipment and forecasting strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams to enhance forecasting, inventory planning, and order management.
- Update and maintain forecasts, pricing, and new product information in internal systems (training provided).
- Engage in weekly discussions with customer replenishment or planning teams to review recent results and updates.
- Coordinate order timing and availability with internal supply chain partners.
- Assist in tracking trade spend and ensure promotional plans are accurately represented in forecasting tools.
