The Role
Summary
The Sales Planning & Reporting Specialist is critical in coordinating, consolidating, and reporting essential information across all business areas to guide Sales decisions. This role involves organizing precise weekly sales forecasts, maintaining the internal Sales Plan, and supporting sales teams in optimizing sales performance. By analyzing data and providing valuable insights, the Sales Planning & Reporting Specialist aids Kia UK in understanding the effects of decisions and commercial strategies, thereby enhancing performance and ensuring cohesive cross-functional planning.
Main Responsibilities
The primary tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordination:
• Align Sales requirements to ensure Kia UK’s internal Sales Plan is optimized and current.
• Gather information to ensure synergy between Sales and Production Planning, continually exploring new methods to illustrate the interaction between these sectors.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure their Wholesale and Retail needs are met and effectively planned for.
• Take ownership of preparing meeting materials to support presentations and inform decisions.
Sales:
• Deliver designated forecast reports to Kia Europe weekly, based on the data collected in Kia UK’s Working Plan.
• Assist in the launch of new model sales, coordinating with Product and Supply Chain teams, among others.
