At A1 Garage Door Service, our Sales & Service Consultants blend consultative sales with practical mechanical work. You will engage with homeowners requiring service, build rapport, offer tailored solutions, close the sale, and perform the necessary repairs yourself.
No prior experience with garage doors? We provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the mechanical skills you need to thrive in this role.
What Sets This Position Apart
Uncapped commissions: First-year earnings typically range from $90K to $150K+.
Your performance directly influences your income—top sellers often exceed six figures.

Your Daily Responsibilities
While this role is primarily sales-focused, you will also engage in hands-on tasks. Each day, you will:
Sell
Meet homeowners during scheduled service calls.
Quickly build trust, clearly outline options, and successfully close sales for repairs or upgrades.
Repair
Replace springs, rollers, motors, and other garage door components.
Install keypads, run wiring, and adjust equipment to ensure optimal function.
Lubricate and test equipment to guarantee smooth operation.
Utilize basic hand and power tools to execute the work you sell.
Serve
Provide exceptional service and support to homeowners, ensuring satisfaction with the solutions provided.
