About the Role
Join our dynamic Global Applications team as a Salesforce Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Commercial Systems and Business Intelligence landscape. This position primarily focuses on Salesforce and the Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps and Power Automate), while also engaging in BI and data-related initiatives.
In this collaborative role, you will work alongside business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to assess needs, design effective functional solutions, and oversee their successful implementation. You will manage the entire functional lifecycle, from gathering and refining requirements to vendor coordination, testing, and supporting go-live activities.
Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that enhancements to our commercial systems align with business priorities, application roadmaps, and IT governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements related to Salesforce and Power Platform solutions.
- Transform business needs into structured functional specifications and solution designs for implementation by internal teams or third-party vendors.
- Analyze current processes and system usage to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Play an active role in data integration and business intelligence initiatives when relevant.
- Ensure that proposed solutions adhere to architectural guidelines, IT standards, and application roadmaps.
- Work closely with team members, sharing knowledge and providing support during peak demand periods.
Project & Enhancement Delivery
- Assist in the planning and execution of system enhancements, including functional design, testing coordination, documentation, and release activities.
- Act as the primary functional contact for external vendors to ensure clear understanding and delivery of requirements.
- Support system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities across Salesforce and Power Platform.
- Contribute to change management efforts, including user communication, documentation updates, and adoption support.
Application Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide daily functional support for Salesforce and Power Platform applications.
- Investigate issues, coordinate resolutions, and implement minor enhancements.
- Monitor application performance, data integrity, and functional stability in collaboration with IT and vendors.
- Maintain current documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance usability, automate manual tasks, and optimize existing processes.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
