RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESScaffolding Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding structures throughout their erection, modification, and dismantling phases to ensure compliance with SABIC standards, approved designs, and safety regulations.Supervision of Scaffolding Activities: Oversee on-site scaffolding operations, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and that all scaffolding materials, components, and accessories meet stringent quality and safety standards.Safety Audits & Risk Assessment: Perform regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments related to scaffolding to identify hazards and ensure timely corrective actions are taken.Documentation & Reporting: Keep precise inspection records, tagging systems, checklists, and reports in accordance with SABIC procedures and HSE documentation standards.Training & Guidance: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to scaffolders regarding safe erection, modification, dismantling, and proper utilization of scaffolding systems.Skills & Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of scaffolding standards and safety regulations.Understanding of load-bearing capacities and scaffold design principles.Familiarity with HSE requirements, PTW systems, and industrial safety practices.Proven ability to identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.QUALIFICATIONEducation: A Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Scaffolding, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Safety is required.
