BAYADA Behavioral Health, a non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) to work in schools. In this role, RBTs support individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) by implementing effective strategies to reduce challenging behaviors, enhance functional skills, and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with students in the classroom, implementing their individualized service plans.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with clients and school teams while respecting diverse values and beliefs.
- Apply behavioral therapy techniques alongside teachers to assist students in their learning environment.
- Document interventions and track progress towards established goals.
- Collect and analyze behavior data as outlined in client behavior plans.
- Provide training and support to help students develop and maintain essential skills.
- Assist clients in enhancing interpersonal skills and fostering independence within their school routines.
- Support school-aged children in achieving success with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
