Job Posting Information:
Hourly Rate: $19.00-$21.00/hour, based on relevant experience.
Hours per week: 15-20 hours during the camp season with optional additional shifts at Crane Beach.
Job Classification: Limited-term, non-exempt.
Job Type: Onsite.
Duration: June–August (with optional May–September shifts at Crane Beach).
Your Role:
As a Camp Lifeguard at SummerQuest, a dynamic nature-based day camp for children aged 5 to 14, you will ensure a safe and enjoyable beach experience for all campers. Your responsibilities include supervising swimmers and non-swimmers, fostering communication, and adhering to safety protocols. You will collaborate with a dedicated summer team focused on excellence and environmental awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee waterfront safety during beach activities.
- Support camp operations while having the option to take on additional lifeguarding shifts at Crane Beach.
