Qualifications
Required Skills:• Proficiency with Nessus vulnerability scanner• Familiarity with Forescout• Strong configuration and maintenance skills• Expertise in vulnerability analysis and remediation methods• Knowledge of data classification and management tools• Experience in incident handling• SIEM experience, preferably with IBM Qradar• Understanding of security policies and proceduresRequired Education:A Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology-related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or at least 5 years of related experience.Required Certifications:While not mandatory, security-related certifications will be considered favorably in the selection process.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Configure, optimize, and maintain existing security tools, including network and server monitors, vulnerability scanners, and intrusion detection systems.
2. Analyze firewall reports and generate comprehensive assessments of attack methodologies and their potential risks to the agency.
3. Prepare situational reports for management that summarize security status and incidents.
4. Enhance our vulnerability scanning tools to improve risk identification and management.
