Job Description:
The Security Auditor plays a crucial role in conducting independent evaluations of management, operational, and technical security controls within the IT framework. This position involves performing security assessments, executing risk analyses, and pinpointing vulnerabilities in system architectures, while proposing mitigation strategies to enhance the overall security posture. The Security Auditor is responsible for monitoring and assessing systems to guarantee compliance with IT security mandates, resilience standards, and reliability guidelines. This role also contributes to the ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity processes and ensures compliance with relevant policies, frameworks, and assessment methodologies.
The Work:
- Conduct independent evaluations of management, operational, and technical security controls.
- Perform security assessments and risk analyses to uncover vulnerabilities and architectural flaws.
- Propose mitigation strategies aimed at fortifying system security and diminishing identified risks.
- Monitor and assess systems for adherence to cybersecurity requirements, standards, and policies.
