The Role
As the inaugural Security Engineer at Blee, you will take full ownership of our security framework. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and uphold our security posture, encompassing SOC 2 compliance, infrastructure fortification, and enterprise security assessments.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage compliance certifications – including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and relevant frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure – focusing on real-time systems and AI batch processing.
- Establish security practices and tools that evolve with the organization, ensuring a robust engineering-driven security approach.
- Enhance cloud infrastructure security – overseeing access controls, secrets management, audit logging, and vulnerability management.
- Refine CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows – improving developer experiences while balancing core security initiatives.
