Qualifications
Responsibilities:Perform threat assessments, security reviews, and penetration testing.Collaborate with other security teams to strategize and implement effective security measures.Design and establish robust defense mechanisms and security controls.Document findings and share insights with relevant teams to enhance security practices.Facilitate security training and awareness initiatives across the organization.Support incident response efforts and conduct post-incident analyses.Keep abreast of emerging security threats and industry best practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.Demonstrable experience in a Security Engineer role or similar, focusing on purple team methodologies.Solid understanding of offensive security principles, penetration testing tools, and techniques.Familiarity with defensive security strategies and incident response protocols.Experience with security frameworks, standards, and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO).Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive security approach.Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
