ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
As a pivotal member of the Security Team, you will represent our commitment to safety and customer service. A professional demeanor and proactive approach are essential in this highly visible role. You will ensure that outstanding security standards and customer service are consistently maintained for clients and visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with all visitors and tenants at the X-Site Braehead leisure facility, providing exemplary customer-focused service.
• Conduct regular patrols of the center as outlined in the site assignment instructions, with a proactive approach.
• Actively seek opportunities to assist visitors, enhancing their experience within the facility.
• Maintain a secure environment, safeguarding the site against any potential threats.
• Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the site control room, responding to incidents and ensuring team members are fully briefed.
• Report any unsecured areas of the site to the Control Room immediately and take necessary action.
• Document all incidents and emergencies with the appropriate control room personnel.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, keeping the Centre team informed at all times.
• Monitor and report on suspicious individuals, adhering to site and company policies.
• Maintain vigilance regarding unauthorized access by banned individuals.
• Adhere to radio communication protocols at all times.
• Ensure that all events and incidents are accurately recorded in the Security Officer notebook, following established policies.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager to meet business needs.
• Be available to cover at least one additional shift per month if requested to accommodate absence or annual leave.
• Work closely with the Environmental Services team to provide cohesive service delivery.
