Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspection tours as per supervisory schedules, logging your locations using government-issued ID badges.
- Monitor and respond to fire alarms and security systems while participating in emergency evacuation plans.
- Safeguard personnel and property against various threats, including theft and trespass.
- Protect government assets and materials from unauthorized access and potential loss.
- Report hazardous conditions and maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain daily logs of facility activities, safety issues, and security incidents.
- Prepare incident reports as required by Guard Post Orders.
- Ensure a high level of security within and around buildings and assist in emergency management situations.
