About the Role
The Senior Account Executive - Commercial Accounts plays a pivotal role in identifying, nurturing, and closing business opportunities with both new and existing customers within the designated territory. This position demands a high level of collaboration, working closely with Veeam's internal teams—including Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Marketing—as well as our Channel, Alliance, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners to ensure the successful execution of the sales strategy for their assigned territory.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales initiatives with new customers in the commercial segment; upsell and cross-sell to existing commercial clients.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach to convert discussions into solid prospects.
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to advance opportunities towards closure, including leveraging Systems Engineers for technical qualification and product demonstrations.
- Secure business in partnership with Veeam's channel partners under a tier-two model.
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets while leveraging business generated by partners to engage end users/customers.
- Develop account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with Inside Sales Representatives, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and others to drive business closure.
- Effectively implement a territory plan to maximize revenue.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and account/opportunity details within Veeam’s CRM (SalesForce).
- Engage with Veeam Strategic Alliance partners to create mutually beneficial revenue opportunities.
- Organize, propose, and participate in marketing activities within the territory. Willingness to travel 0-75% within the assigned region is required.
