Your Responsibilities as an Account Executive at Vanta:
Take ownership of your sales pipeline — identify, research, and prioritize high-value accounts and sectors, creating a consistent outbound strategy to generate new opportunities.
Execute a top-tier sales process — qualify leads thoroughly, forecast accurately, and advance deals using MEDDPICC or a comparable structured methodology to ensure predictable outcomes.
Transform interest into lasting value — inform prospects about the business impact of Vanta, deliver engaging demos, and customize solution proposals aligned with each customer’s objectives.
Communicate with confidence and professionalism — engage effectively with founders, CEOs, and technical leaders, simplifying complex compliance and security concepts into tangible business benefits.
Continuously refine your skills — embrace feedback, seek mentorship, and contribute to the enhancement of team playbooks, messaging, and outbound strategies.
Be a proactive self-starter — take initiative and operate with urgency, ownership, and independence in a dynamic environment where results are paramount.
Drive market expansion — explore partnership avenues, represent Vanta at industry conferences, and assist in bolstering our presence in both new and established markets.
Collaborate cross-functionally — work alongside our SDR team, marketing department, legal advisors, and Solutions Engineers to identify, manage, and close deals.
