Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of industry coverage and the competitive landscape.
Collaborate with management to enhance user engagement at client firms. Proactively monitor client usage to promote Guidepoint subscriptions.
Engage in outbound prospecting to identify leads within existing clients and follow up on warm leads.
Achieve designated growth targets through a strategic, client-focused approach that adds value to their processes.
Effectively onboard new users.
Work closely with the client service team to gather feedback on ongoing projects and advisors provided for client review.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, banking, consulting, or account management.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
Broad understanding of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage high-profile clients (Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity, and Corporates).
Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Motivated to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to assume increasing responsibilities over time.
Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders at various seniority levels.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Institutional Sales team. This individual will report to the Head of US Client Growth and will be responsible for promoting our subscription-based research service to various business units within existing clients, such as hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity firms, with the goal of increasing overall usage.
This is a hybrid position based in our New York City office.
