Key Responsibilities
Drive business growth for Mapbox within the Korean market, catering to both domestic and global applications.
Establish and nurture relationships with major enterprises and strategic Mapbox clients from initial contact through product launch, ensuring sustainable growth together.
Leverage Mapbox's core components and extensive customer insights to deliver persuasive solutions with measurable business impacts.
Relay customer requirements and industry trends back to Mapbox's product teams to shape our development roadmap.
Create and implement strategies to enhance Mapbox's market presence in key industry sectors, collaborating closely with the team to showcase customer success stories.
Essential Qualities for Success
Fluent in Korean, with proficiency in English for business communication.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales.
Demonstrated technical sales capability, evidenced by deal size and complexity (focus on six and seven-figure opportunities), and strong rapport with engineers and product managers.
In-depth understanding of the Korean business landscape and geospatial technology sector.
Proficient in navigating intricate customer dynamics, building trust and influence with stakeholders from engineering teams to executive leadership.
Skilled in collaborating across Mapbox departments including engineering, support, and marketing to finalize deals and ensure successful product launches.
Possess curiosity, empathy, and resilience—working alongside customers to tackle challenging problems and achieving collective success.
Experience handling large, complex commercial and legal agreements within Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
