Your Role in Our Mission
As a Senior Accountant, you will take charge of crucial reconciliation and reporting tasks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial data across various systems—from transaction details to month-end outputs. You will collaborate closely with accounting teams, FP&A, and Finance IT to maintain our financial operations, identifying root causes, enhancing processes, and fortifying documentation and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex reconciliations across diverse systems and data sources, thoroughly investigating discrepancies and resolving issues comprehensively.
- Manage substantial financial data volumes, guaranteeing completeness, accuracy, and robust audit trails.
- Conduct in-depth account analyses and create clear documentation that supports month-end closures, internal controls, and external audit needs.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Finance IT to ensure precise financial results, streamlined processes, and strong interdepartmental alignment.
- Dive deep into system and ledger particulars (SAP S/4 Hana and additional reporting tools) to pinpoint root causes, enhance data integrity, and optimize workflows.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet substantiations.
- Identify and execute process enhancements, automation possibilities, and control improvements to boost efficiency and diminish risk.
- Support ad-hoc analyses and projects requiring strong accounting acumen, structured problem-solving, and clear communication.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience (in-house accounting, audit, advisory, or a blend), demonstrating a history of managing complex topics independently.
- Strong foundational accounting knowledge with the ability to apply it in high-volume, real-world scenarios.
