Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and execute period-end closings (monthly, quarterly, annual) in line with HGB, RechKredV, and relevant IFRS standards.Prepare, review, and analyze statutory and management financial statements; maintain, reconcile, and substantiate intricate general ledger accounts, including accruals, provisions, and intercompany positions.Ensure compliant accounting practices and documentation under HGB and IFRS; lead reconciliations for banks, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and balance sheets to guarantee audit readiness.Manage compliance with regulatory reporting obligations, including AWV, IFD/IFR regulatory reporting, and other necessary filings.Coordinate annual audits and maintain productive communication with auditors and regulatory bodies.Optimize accounting processes within DATEV, enhancing workflows; assist the Head of Finance with budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and financial analysis.Lead or engage in finance transformation projects, including automation, system enhancements, and policy updates.
