We are on the lookout for a meticulous and forward-thinking Senior Accountant to enrich our finance team. This pivotal role will involve ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, facilitating the month-end closing process, and enhancing accounting workflows to accommodate ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead and facilitate the month-end and year-end close processes, encompassing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Evaluate financial results and provide management with insights on trends, variances, and performance metrics.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring both accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with revenue recognition, lease accounting, and fixed asset tracking across various locations.
- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to guarantee precise financial reporting.
- Support external audits and tax filings by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and enhance internal controls.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
