WHAT YOU’LL DO:Collaborate with the Controller on the month-end close process, ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements.Analyze general ledger balances, investigate variances, and review reconciliations to align actual results with our budgets and forecasts in the PBM sector.Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, general ledger, and bank transactions in compliance with GAAP.Complete monthly accruals and journal entries.Assist in revenue reviews in accordance with ASC 606 standards.Possess knowledge of sales and use tax filings/software (e.g., Avalara or Sovos).Contribute to the enhancement of internal controls by providing improvement recommendations.Support annual audits including financial, bank, and 401K.Build collaborative relationships within the Rightway team.Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving accounting needs.WHO YOU ARE:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.A minimum of 6 years of general accounting experience with a proven track record of advancement.Experience in a fast-paced startup or the healthcare technology industry, particularly in Pharmacy Benefit Management, is advantageous.Proficient in Netsuite, Excel, and GSuite.A strong communicator with excellent analytical skills.
