At Vilgain, we are experiencing rapid growth, and we are in search of a seasoned Senior Accountant who will take ownership of the accounting for a segment of our group. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records amidst our annual growth of several percentages.
You will not just be tasked with 'processing documents.' We are looking for someone who desires real accountability for the accounting of assigned foreign entities. You will have a comprehensive overview of the accounting as a whole, participate in financial closings, address complex accounting scenarios, and communicate with tax advisors and colleagues across the company.
What You Will Do:
Take full responsibility for the accounting of primarily foreign companies.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy in accounting across various agendas.
Manage and oversee inventory accounting.
Handle accounting for foreign transactions.
Collaborate with tax advisors and external consultants.
Communicate effectively with colleagues company-wide.
Proactively seek ways to enhance financial processes.
Who We Are Looking For:
You have experience managing a company's accounting, including preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
You have practical experience with inventory accounting.
You have experience with international accounting or foreign entities.
You can independently resolve accounting issues and seek the right solutions, not just process tasks.
You can communicate with tax advisors, auditors, and colleagues across the organization.
You are a team player but also thrive without micromanagement.
You think critically and do not merely want to 'process documents.'
