Job Purpose
Lead daily accounting operations, analyze and audit financial information, and manage team members effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an overall accounting strategy for the Finance Department.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and current financial legislation across all accounting processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Create financial statements and comprehensive reports.
- Oversee payroll tax remittances and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Account for fixed assets and reconcile bank accounts.
- Maintain an organized filing system to support account management.
- Prepare monthly internal financial statements within 21 days of month-end.
- Analyze monthly financial statements and interpret results using KPIs and trend analysis.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.
