Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new titles and updated editions of essential backlist works in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with publishers, authors, editors, and contributors.
- Establish and nurture a network of academic contacts.
- Create acquisition strategies and analyze market trends and demographics.
- Collaborate with the publishing team to develop, implement, and monitor projects.
- Prepare proposals, including cost and pricing recommendations, while keeping an updated knowledge of existing product offerings.
