LEAP Program Overview
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a strategic collaboration between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is executing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism initially utilized by USAID to combat infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U. S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative is designed to tackle the intricate human resource challenges encountered by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported nations.
The project's intervention involves hiring and integrating technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government agencies. By embedding technical expertise within national programs, LEAP aims to provide sustainable, lifesaving support that empowers host governments to lead and manage critical components of their infectious disease strategies while enhancing collaboration between the U. S. Government and the host nation.
