About the job
Are you passionate about revolutionizing global health and wellness?
At Practice Better, we provide a comprehensive platform designed to empower health and wellness practitioners in managing their businesses and enhancing client care. Established by practitioners in 2016, we have become the leading EHR and practice management solution in the wellness sector, supporting tens of thousands of professionals across over 70 countries.
In 2023, we expanded our services by acquiring That Clean Life, further integrating nutrition planning into our offerings.
Our remote-first team, based in Toronto, is composed of innovative, driven, and empathetic individuals dedicated to building tools that enable practitioners to maintain sustainable, independent practices while performing meaningful work. Although most of our collaboration occurs remotely, we prioritize regular off-site gatherings and team events to foster connection and teamwork.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of AI-driven features for our all-in-one practice management platform that caters to health and wellness professionals. As a member of our AI and Product Platform team, you will have the chance to influence how we incorporate LLMs and agent-based AI into our platform to address genuine customer challenges.
We are looking for a pragmatic problem-solver who is enthusiastic about the potential of LLMs—someone with practical experience in prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and deploying AI agents into production. If you have explored agent frameworks, tool utilization, and the integration of multiple AI features, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious about the fast-evolving AI landscape, possesses strong product instincts, and excels at transforming emerging capabilities into features that simplify our customers' experiences.
Note: Practice Better is a remote-first company with team members across North America. This role is currently open exclusively to Canadian-based candidates, and preference will be given to applicants authorized to work in Canada.
