About the Role
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and implementing our AI platforms. You will collaborate closely with data quality engineers, software engineers, platform engineers, DevOps, product owners, and business stakeholders. Your technical leadership will guide multiple diverse teams across various geographical locations. You will coach and mentor these teams to foster future success and partner with engineering managers, directors, and VPs on strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth, particularly in AI, ensuring the engineering organization is equipped to scale effectively.
As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading change to facilitate delivery and innovation in an agile environment.
Your Day to Day
- Define the direction of our applied AI domains and intelligence features in our products. Lead the deployment of cutting-edge AI models and systems that enhance the capabilities and performance of Abacus’s offerings (e.g., Abacus Agents, MCP, SQL, RAG agents, and tools).
- Innovate data collection, fine-tuning, and LLM technologies to achieve exceptional performance on specialized tasks and domains.
- Design and implement ML/AI pipelines to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
