We are seeking a highly skilled Application Cloud Architect fluent in English to join our dynamic team in Brussels, Belgium. This role offers the flexibility to work on-site at our office or directly at client locations. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with our Development team and a prominent client's IT department to deliver innovative cloud solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot application architectures.
- Manage intricate architectures and integrate diverse systems into cohesive solutions.
- Design and architect information systems in alignment with both business and technical requirements.
- Evaluate existing system architectures and provide actionable recommendations for enhancement and optimization.
- Develop architectural components and building blocks for both back-end and front-end systems.
- Oversee the integration of multiple information systems and ensure seamless functionality.
- Conduct data analysis and modeling to support system design and informed decision-making.
- Coordinate technical architecture implementation across various projects.
- Act as the technical liaison between project managers and development teams.
- Create and maintain thorough software architecture documentation.
- Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user consultations.
- Offer support during testing, analysis, documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting phases.
- Implement and develop key system features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- A University degree in IT or a related discipline, paired with a minimum of 15 years of relevant IT experience.
- At least 5 years of expertise in Java, Angular, and Weblogic or other JEE container management.
- Strong knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g., Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus).
- Familiarity with messaging services and platforms (e.g., Java Message Service, Apache Kafka).
- Proficiency in JEE and Angular, along with eUI.
- Understanding of Akoma Ntoso: technology-neutral electronic representations in XML of legislative documents.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Exceptional command of the English language.
