Position Overview
As a member of the Boulder Opal team, you will partner with exceptional engineers and researchers to conceptualize and develop a robust, scalable back-end system, directly enhancing our quantum controller infrastructure.
Your primary responsibility will involve the maintenance and advancement of the compiler stack that interprets OpenQASM3 and OpenPulse programs for low-level quantum controllers. This vital role bridges the divide between high-level quantum programming and its physical execution on QPUs. You will work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including product, infrastructure, front-end, and research, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions that drive our SDKs and cloud services.
We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong foundation in back-end engineering and systems-level programming, along with a keen interest in quantum computing and scientific software.
