About North
North is Cohere’s pioneering AI workspace platform, crafted to transform how enterprises harness the power of AI. It provides a secure and customizable environment that allows companies to deploy AI solutions while safeguarding sensitive data. North seamlessly integrates with existing workflows, offering a reliable platform that connects AI agents with workplace tools and applications.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable features for the agentic chat loop within North, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Take comprehensive ownership of features from conception to delivery, managing the entire lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
Leverage your expertise to deliver rapid results, making informed technical decisions that balance speed with depth and quality.
Collaborate effectively across teams, upholding high standards for communication, documentation, and testing.
You may be a strong candidate if you:
Have a proven track record of building, shipping, and maintaining production systems utilizing large language models (LLMs).
Possess experience in owning complex features from design through deployment, with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability.
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product teams to translate insights into actionable enhancements.
Exhibit strong coding skills and comfort working across the full technology stack.
Possess a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for innovation.
