Join our innovative team at fuku as a Senior Children Programming Course Designer. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing engaging programming courses for children aged 6 to 16, transforming the learning experience into something enjoyable and captivating, far exceeding the thrill of gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive curriculum that includes an educational journey from Scratch visual programming to Python coding and competitive C++ challenges, tailored to the cognitive development of children at various ages.
- Create educational materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, presentations, and exercises. Continuously refine course content based on feedback from teachers and students to enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide training to new instructors, ensuring that course materials are delivered effectively and engagingly.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring advanced educational concepts and course design methodologies from both domestic and international sources, ensuring our courses remain competitive.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Educational Technology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Exceptional candidates may receive consideration with slightly lower educational qualifications.
- A minimum of three years of experience in designing children’s programming courses or direct teaching experience, with hands-on interaction with students.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language among Scratch, Python, or C++, with the ability to independently develop and explain relevant content.
- A solid understanding of child cognitive development and familiarity with PBL (Project-Based Learning) and STEAM education principles, capable of simplifying complex knowledge for children's understanding.
- Excellent writing skills to create engaging and lively course materials.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in course design for K12 educational institutions, or a teaching approach that is well-received by students.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 15,000–25,000 CNY/month, negotiable based on experience.
