Rawafid is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Senior Civil Engineer to spearhead and support our civil engineering initiatives from the initial design phase to the final construction stages. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in planning, designing, and supervising intricate infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. Your leadership and specialized expertise will be essential in guiding multidisciplinary teams while also mentoring junior engineers. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall plant layout and site configuration to optimize space utilization and constructability.
- Develop civil design guidelines, criteria, and engineering standards for effective project execution.
- Design and oversee the routing of underground utilities, including drainage, sewer, potable water, and firewater systems.
- Prepare site grading and earthwork designs in alignment with geotechnical data.
- Design road networks, access routes, and hardstanding areas within the plant site.
- Create stormwater management systems and site drainage solutions.
- Prepare foundation location plans in accordance with structural requirements.
- Design cable trenches and duct bank routing for electrical and communication systems.
- Develop fencing, boundary layouts, and site security plans.
- Plan construction laydown and temporary facility areas.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and piping disciplines for integrated below-ground routing.
- Review and integrate geotechnical survey data into civil design developments.
- Ensure adherence to the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant civil engineering standards.
