Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient, and scalable cloud solutions.Deliver cloud capabilities that meet technical, business, and security requirements up to PROTECTED level.Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability.Identify opportunities to consolidate, simplify, and enhance cloud-based systems and workflows.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (using Terraform, Python/Boto3, Ansible).Configure and manage multi-account AWS environments, networks, and security (VPC, Transit Gateway, Palo Alto NGFW, Network Firewall).Deploy and maintain shared platform services (SSO, logging, monitoring, automation).Integrate cloud services with external systems such as Azure identities, SIEM, and monitoring tools.Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, event-driven automation, and patch management.Build observability dashboards, respond to alerts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.What You'll Bring:Expert-level AWS skills: Organizations, Control Tower, Account Factory, IAM, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector.Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks (PSPF, ISM, E8).A minimum of 5 years’ experience in AWS cloud engineering within large-scale, multi-account environments.Hands-on experience in DevSecOps, platform automation, and infrastructure optimization.
