GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the client portfolio, enhancing the LDC brand in the region.
- Monitor the P&L and budget for grain collection.
- Lead the commercial team development in alignment with LDC's strategy.
- Share pertinent business information across departments (planting intentions, yields, climate, financial situation, crop technology, etc).
- Coordinate with support areas (Industry, Domestic Execution, Logistics, Risks, etc).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define commercial terms with producers alongside the Regional Manager.
- Manage the client portfolio and develop new prospects.
- Originating grains and oilseeds (soybean, corn, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, barley) with a focus on sustainability.
- Track the commercial position of grain collection (incoming, outgoing, pricing, etc).
- Sales of fertilizers, agrochemicals, and seeds while enhancing exchanges.
- Develop new products (Camelina, Carinata, sustainability programs).
- Assess client needs and propose financing alternatives; responsible for initial credit risk analysis and debt collection.
- Interact with logistics coordinators to organize deliveries.
- Coordinate with the industries supervisor and plant manager on maintenance, improvements, safety, and quality matters at the plants.
- Control and grant initial approval for expenses and purchases.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with P&L and budget.
