We are currently seeking a talented Senior Content Marketer to become an integral part of our Discoverability team. This role is crucial as it focuses on enhancing our visibility across various search platforms, including traditional search engines and AI-driven tools. We aim to optimize our content for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
Background & Hiring Motivation
Modash is a leading B2B SaaS platform dedicated to influencer marketing. Our Discoverability team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Modash is easily found by users searching for influencer marketing solutions. Currently, we are looking to fill a critical gap in managing our long-form blog content effectively.
This position was previously handled by me, and I am eager to pass it on to someone who can take it to the next level.
As the Senior Content Marketer, you will have the opportunity to lead the content production process from start to finish. Initially, we will collaborate on topic selection and prioritization—leveraging my strategic insights alongside your editorial expertise. Over time, as you gain familiarity with our brand and audience, you will take greater ownership of strategic decisions regarding content creation, publication schedules, and content refreshes. This is not just an execution role; it's a pathway for professional growth.
Role Scope & Example Projects
This position is focused on producing high-quality long-form blog content specifically designed for search optimization. Your responsibilities will cover the entire content production lifecycle—from briefing to publication. Below are examples of what this entails:
Example 1: Managing Freelance Writers
Your leadership will directly influence the quality of our content, which includes:
- Brief Creation: Developing comprehensive, insightful briefs for our freelance writers to ensure exceptional output.
- Editorial Management: Collaborating closely with writers throughout the content creation process, providing constructive feedback, maintaining our quality standards, and ensuring each piece meets our rigorous expectations.
- Workflow Ownership: Overseeing the entire workflow through to publication, including coordinating any necessary supporting materials.
While you won't be writing most of the content daily, you should possess strong writing skills to understand what constitutes 'great' content and contribute when necessary.
Example 2: Coordinating Expert Contributors
Some of our best content will require expertise beyond what our writers can provide. Your role will be to ensure that this expertise is seamlessly integrated into our final products.
In this capacity, you will identify when a topic necessitates external or internal knowledge, ensuring that the final content reflects the highest standards of accuracy and insight.
