Position Summary:
The Senior Contracts Attorney will be integral in overseeing and negotiating a diverse range of agreements that support our business operations. This role demands extensive knowledge of contract law, ideally with experience in a public life sciences setting. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills, the capacity to juggle multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and engaging with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various contracts including but not limited to Confidential Disclosure Agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements, vendor agreements, real estate contracts, clinical trial contracts, and research collaborations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on contract issues and processes, providing guidance to internal teams.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Clinical Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, Manufacturing, Research) to ensure compliance and efficiency in the contract execution process.
- Create and maintain standardized templates and processes for effective contract management.
- Provide training and support to business units regarding contract requirements and approval workflows.
- Advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and strategies for risk mitigation.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impede the timely completion of contracts.
- Utilize e-signature platforms to ensure proper document finalization and execution.
