Join Ergomed as a Senior Data Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping our data integration strategy. In this position, you will:
Design and implement robust data integration procedures and pipelines that efficiently extract data from various sources, transforming it into the desired format for our modern analytics data storage and management systems. This includes integrating data from diverse internal and external sources through batch, incremental, and streaming methods.
Promote the active use of metadata in data integration processes, ensuring a high level of automation and simplicity. You will leverage innovative tools and architectures to automate repetitive data preparation and integration tasks, enhancing efficiency.
Collaborate with business analysts, project finance analysts, domain owners, and subject matter experts to optimize data products within the realms of data and business intelligence.
Work closely with business data owners to enhance data quality and governance.
Educate and train team members on effective data pipelining and preparation techniques, enabling them to integrate and utilize data for their specific use cases.
Ensure data consistency and integrity during integration processes, identifying root causes of quality issues and collaborating with technical system owners to implement optimal solutions.
Optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for performance, scalability, and overall efficiency.
Monitor and fine-tune data analytics systems, resolving performance bottlenecks and implementing strategies such as caching and indexing to enhance query performance.
Implement data quality checks and validations within data pipelines to guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
Take ownership of maximizing the value of enterprise information assets, utilizing analytics to generate insights for automated decision-making and enhancing human performance.
Establish governance standards for data and algorithms utilized in analysis, analytical applications, and automated decision-making.
