This position requires on-site presence in the Greater Seattle Area.
We are in search of a proactive Senior Data Engineer Contractor for a duration of 8 months, with a robust expertise in Databricks to develop and enhance data pipelines spanning engineering, marketing, online booking, and finance domains. This contractor will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL processes in Databricks utilizing Python, SQL, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. Key responsibilities include creating bronze, silver, and gold data models, scheduling jobs, conducting data quality checks, and documenting governed datasets for downstream utilization. The role also involves collaboration with business stakeholders to define entities, events, funnel stages, and reporting needs, while establishing scalable architecture, access controls, and data governance standards.
