As a Senior Data Engineer in our Data Products team, you will play a pivotal role in constructing the analytics infrastructure that will support Culture Amp's next era of workforce insights. This hands-on position is focused on data modeling and designing analytical queries at scale.
Key Responsibilities
You will develop and implement data models that drive insights by linking engagement, performance, hierarchy, and retention data. Your work will enable leaders to not only comprehend the current state of their organization but also understand the underlying reasons behind it.
Specifically, you will:
- Create analytical data models in ClickHouse, optimized for intricate queries spanning millions of survey responses and workforce events.
- Design schemas and transformations that facilitate the computation of insights across various data domains.
- Collaborate with data scientists to transition statistical and machine learning models into production.
- Engage with streaming data pipelines (Kafka) to ensure data is structured appropriately for analytical tasks.
Why This Opportunity is Unique
This role is integral to Culture Amp's product strategy, leveraging one of the largest workforce datasets globally, encompassing years of engagement surveys, performance cycles, and organizational changes from thousands of companies. The technical challenge lies in rendering this data queryable, joinable, and actionable for insights that truly benefit our clients.
In this position, you will be at the forefront of innovation, creating new solutions rather than simply maintaining existing systems.
