Default Servicing at Valon
The Default Servicing team is responsible for overseeing all processes related to defaults and managing mortgage loans that are in default status. This team plays a pivotal role within Valon and the wider mortgage ecosystem by helping prevent foreclosures and reducing losses for investors. Prioritizing homeowner transparency and financial literacy, we aim to assist homeowners who require additional support to maintain their dream of homeownership.
Role Overview
As a Senior Default Associate on the Default Administration team, you will manage processes and protocols associated with claims, invoice handling, and corporate advances. We are seeking a proactive individual with robust project management skills to support and advise on implementing reconciliation and recovery processes that adhere to contractual obligations, Valon policies, and regulatory requirements. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all reporting obligations and deadlines are met.
