We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our dynamic team at thejustgroup, a renowned mechanical and electrical contractor located in North Essex. This role focuses on residential projects and offers the opportunity to advance into a managerial position.
With over 25 years of experience, our client has established a solid reputation by working with various developers, from bespoke housing projects to large-scale developments of over 300 units, including high-rise apartment complexes throughout London and the South East.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in hands-on design work, collaborating closely with estimators on both new and ongoing projects. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of the new homes industry and have design experience across multiple sectors, including bespoke housing, multi-residential, and commercial projects. While the focus is on mechanical design, a fundamental understanding of electrical systems is essential.
This is a permanent position with significant career growth potential. The Design Engineer may occasionally need to travel to sites, so a valid driving license is required.
