Join our dynamic Ops-readiness & Performance team as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you'll engage collaboratively with developers and test engineers to enhance our software delivery process. Your mission is to provide significant value to the engineering organization, making software delivery faster and more efficient. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll showcase a high level of productivity, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach. You're not just comfortable sharing insights; you're eager to drive continuous improvements in both solutions and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to streamline and accelerate delivery.
- Promote DevOps culture across the organization beyond the Ops-Readiness & Performance team.
- Develop and maintain automation processes for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and pipelines.
- Initiate and manage feedback loops regarding service availability and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements.
- Follow corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies, including Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.
Qualifications for Success:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS (experience with GCP and Azure is a plus).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with Git and skilled in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Advanced knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Datadog.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems and administrative practices.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for automation and a strong aversion to manual operations.
- Proficiency in performance testing practices is highly valued.
- Fluency in English is required.
