Job Summary
In the position of Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of the AWS infrastructure from start to finish in a highly interactive role. Your focus will be on designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability. Responsibilities include overseeing CI/CD pipelines, implementing secure secrets management via AWS Secrets Manager, and crafting automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline processes. As the platform operates entirely on AWS, you will engage with core services, containers, monitoring, and observability, closely collaborating with software engineers to resolve production issues and stepping in as needed to maintain system stability, security, and performance. Additionally, cost management and optimization will be crucial, including establishing guardrails, monitoring, and alerts to prevent unnecessary expenses due to misconfigurations or inefficient code, ensuring sustainable scalability. This role is ideally suited for a DevOps expert with significant AWS experience who is eager to make a meaningful impact.
