The Senior Digital Forensic Examiner plays a crucial role in the preservation and analysis of digital media and cloud-based systems. This position requires a self-sufficient expert capable of processing and extracting artifacts from various computer operating systems. Proficiency in data collection from Android and iOS mobile devices is essential. The ideal candidate will manage their own time and cases effectively while overcoming technical challenges. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, with the ability to provide testimony in legal proceedings based on extensive knowledge and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and track electronic evidence throughout its lifecycle.
- Utilize leading forensic software to identify, collect, preserve, and analyze electronic data from laptops, desktops, mobile devices, email, and cloud-based systems.
- Conduct email collections and E-file conversions.
- Perform social media data collections and preservation.
- Collaborate with other team members as necessary throughout project duration.
- Maintain thorough project-related documentation and notes.
- Handle project-related monthly billing.
- Oversee client relationships and collection projects from inception to completion, including project scoping, workflow design, and execution of forensically sound collections.
- Provide depositions and testimonies related to managed projects and collections as needed.
- Generate accurate, unbiased findings reports as required.
- Mentor and train junior practitioners in the field.
